Who we are

Sivakoti Devotee Connect is operated for Sivakoti by its authorised temple administrators. It helps the temple maintain devotee records, organise pujas and bookings, and send service-related communications.

Information we handle

Depending on your relationship with Sivakoti, we may handle:

• your name, phone number, email address, and other contact details;
• devotional details you provide, such as gotram, nakshatram, and family details;
• puja, seva, booking, subscription, payment-status, and receipt information;
• communication preferences and message delivery or engagement status;
• photos, videos, or personalised media connected with temple services; and
• technical and security information needed to operate the service.

Sivakoti does not use this service to collect full payment-card credentials or online banking passwords.

How we use information

We use the information to:

• register devotees and administer requested temple services;
• manage bookings, pujas, sevas, subscriptions, and related records;
• send confirmations, reminders, updates, and personalised temple media;
• respond to questions, corrections, and support requests; and
• protect the service, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the service, including Meta WhatsApp, Cloudflare, Clerk, and configured email or SMS providers. We disclose only what is reasonably needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people, Sivakoti, or the service.

We do not sell devotee personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide temple services, maintain legitimate operational or accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect information, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask Sivakoti to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop optional communications. See our data deletion instructions for the request process. You can also reply STOP to a Sivakoti WhatsApp message to withdraw from future optional WhatsApp communications.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or our practices change. The date above shows when this version took effect.
